2019 so far has been rather dull! In retail, January is never an exciting month, spent stocktaking and restocking under the cloud of the post-festive blues! February is refection; looking at what worked in 2018 in terms of PR, marketing, advertising and products. In retail, January is never an exciting month, spent stocktaking and restocking under the cloud of the post-festive blues! February is refection; looking at what worked in 2018 in terms of PR, marketing, advertising and products. Making final decisions about the new season drops and when to launch specific productther difficult and monotonous exercise.
However, I am delighted with the finished product. When I build the original website in 2015, Pegasus was me, a logo and thirty pieces of jewellery. We didn't have a team to blog about, sponsored riders to follow, we didn't have new exciting launches or loads of collections to shout about, we had a couple of hundred followers on social media and most of my first customers were friends! So my website was basic, it had a purpose to showcase the new designs of jewellery I had to sell.
But... and a big but...2019 things are so different! We have a Team... and sometimes I have to pinch myself, not only a Pegasus HQ Team, but Tara Punter PR and her team, Black Nova Designs, who deal with my SEO, Alice Rose who creates social media content, Events Through a Lens who provide lifestyle photos, and the amazing Team Pegasus who are a fantastic collection of riders, bloggers and ambassadors who help promote my brand. We have a really loyal cu
stomer base, a fantastic following on social media, and so much planned for the future... so all this could be showcased on the new website.
And I couldn't be happier! The new website also allows quick and easy Google pay and Paypal Express, to save the boredom of filling in all your contact details and also links product straight from Instagram. We can also highlight the wonderful blogs on everything from Cheltenham to a Mother's Day Guide that are written for us by the wonderful Tara Punter PR. We have included look books and new products to make it an easy way to navigate your way around your favourite Equestrian Brand.
So, it may have been an unexciting start to 2019, but I am delighted to launch the new Pegasus Jewellery web-site and I look forward to a fantastic year as we continue to grow this fantastic brand we all love.
Love & Health,
Kim
