The Pegasus Story
Pegasus Jewellery has a steeped history of British excellence. Jewellery is all that founder Kim Wilson has ever known and has been part of her family for over 100 years right back to when her Great Grandfather opened a jewellers in 1909, in a small village called Dalbeattie. That business is still in the family today, run by Kim’s brother in Dumfries. Kim’s inspiration however came from her young daughter and a trip to an International Horse Trials.
“The idea of the brand came about at Blair Castle FEI International Horse Trials in 2015 when I realised I wanted to combine my adoration of horses with a desire to launch a jewellery collection. I utilised my knowledge of current trends in the jewellery world and added a classy equine twist. Horses have always been a huge part of my life and I currently have two ponies for my children. My daughter Charlotte actually inspired the name of the brand as one bedtime story she was reading spoke of Pegasus the winged horse who sprang from the body of Medusa. After reading it, Charlotte said “Mummy that would be a good name for your jewellery,” and it just felt right. I hoped my dreams and aspirations would take flight as Pegasus did.
The debut collection comprised 30 pieces but the one piece that stood out and continues to be a best seller was the pearl horseshoe sparkle earrings. Pearl studs are a beautiful jewellery classic and I wanted to make them modern and combine them with an equestrian theme. Adding the sparkly horseshoe and setting the pearl inside was everything I wanted Pegasus to be - classy combined with modern equestrianism.
As much as I adore wearing pretty jewellery, my favourite every day piece has to be our best-selling Internationally loved Vitality bracelet. It gives me strength and stamina to get through the hectic-ness of combining business and family life. I work full time with Pegasus. look after two children, two ponies and a beagle! Plus I want a mini Dachshund to add to the equation! The Vitality makes it all possible - I no longer need to take endless painkillers for my shoulder. Its a little life changing miracle band.”

Is my order on its way to me?
When your order has been dispatched you will receive a confirmation email. We use Royal Mail for all our deliveries.
What is Free Standard delivery?
Free UK shipping is offered to UK mainland addresses via Royal Mail .Your order will be shipped 1-3 working days from placing your order on a first class service. Royal Mail aim to deliver first class letters/ parcels next day- however in our experience it can take up to 5 working days. If you need your parcel urgently please use our First or Priority Service as we cant guarantee delivery dates on Free Postage Service.
Free UK Shipping outside UK mainland (including N. Ireland) will be shipped via Royal Mail.
What is Royal Mail Signed for?
A two working day First Class service which is signed for on delivery.
What is Priority Shipping?
Priority Shipping costs £7 and your order will be dispatched that day if placed Monday- Thursday before 2pm. This will be sent Special Delivery and is guaranteed before 1pm the following day. This can be tracked using the link on the dispatch email that will be sent to you.
• If you place your order by 2pm Monday to Thursday, you will receive your order the next working day.
• If you order before 2pm on Friday you will receive your order the following Monday.
• If you place your order between 2pm Friday and 2pm Monday, you will receive your order on Tuesday.
• If you place your order on a Bank Holiday it will be delivered 2 working days later.
How does your delivery service work?
Vitality Bracelets are sent Royal Mail as a large letter. This is because many customers asked they could be posted through the letter box a a normal letter rather than the red card to then have to collect. Other Jewellery is sent as a small parcel.
For Royal Mail, a first attempt will be made for delivery, post which the parcel will need to be picked up from the Royal Mail drop point, normally the post office.
Do you Delivery Internationally?
International delivery to Europe costs £15 and is via Royal Mail, International tracked and signed service.

How will my order be packaged?
Most items are beautifully packaged in Pegasus Black and white Gift Boxes. They are posted in protective bubble lined packets.
Some items (leather/fabric/ bracelets) are packaged in black velvet pouches embossed with PEGASUS JEWELLERY in silver.
Vitality Bracelets and Rings are packaged in Velvet Branded Pouches.
Can I view the entire collection?
We are predominantly an on-line retailer, however the collection is now available to buy from the following retailers:

I have ordered the wrong size- how can I exchange?
The goods should then be returned in original packaging with the invoice and return card to the following address, stating the correct size to be exchanged for.

As we offer free postage on all purchases, postage must be paid by the customer to return items.
Once the item has been returned and inspected a refund will be issued or a replacement piece sent out.
My item is faulty- what should I do?
We give a 2 week return policy for any items you feel may be 'faulty' then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The item must be returned with original packaging and invoice to the address above.
Wear and tear of products is not covered by any warranty.
